People and their politics are what start wars, divert our resources to wrong-headed agendas (that’s my politics speaking!), create enemies where none needed to exist, market fear to control others, and worse.
There are no innocent bystanders to politics, only those who want to control others and those who want to be free of the control by others. Pretending that politics is unimportant or boring or ineffectual is to choose to be controlled by the decisions of others.
